A "Real" New York Motorcycle Accident Attorney
Before you choose a New York motorcycle attorney you found on the Internet, make sure that attorney is what he claims to be. If you were seriously injured in a catastrophic motorcycle accident, I can help you. I am a real New York
motorcycle accident attorney.
How can you spot an imposter? Here's how:
Licensed in New York
A lawyer admitted to practice in New York must give a name, address and telephone number on all methods of advertising, so that you know where to contact the lawyer. If a self-proclaimed motorcycle accident attorney is listed as being in almost every city in every state in the country — that's virtually impossible. The lawyer claims to be able to represent you in an attempt to get your business. Then he (or she) farms out your case to another lawyer and collects a fee for the referral. When you call me, you'll speak to me. It's that simple! You won't get some answering service, secretary/paralegal, or some lawyer in another state; you get me and only me.
Ask the lawyer to personally handle your case. If there is any hesitation, you have your answer.
I live and work in New York. Check it out.
Motorcycle Attorney
Some attorneys claim to know motorcycles and motorcycle accidents. Does their web site say that they primarily handle motorcycle accidents, or is motorcycle injury just a blurb on a single page? Nearly every personal injury lawyer in New York claims to handle
motorcycle accidents. That doesn't mean that he or she ever handled a motorcycle accident case or even understands motorcycles. I'll bet they don't know the difference between the clutch lever and the brake lever, or how to shift a bike.
If you call the attorney, say you had a run in with a cage and the attorney responds, "Huh?", then perhaps you don't have the right law firm.
Eighty five percent of my practice is related to motorcycle accident injuries. I ride bikes.
Check it out. The rest is automobile accidents, construction accidents and injuries caused by medical malpractice.
A Biker Helping Bikers
If you were in a left-hand-turn accident (86 percent of motorcycle accidents are caused by a driver turning left into the motorcycle), U-turn accident, or other form of accident with a car or truck and have serious injuries, I'd like to help. If your perfect weekend touring Bear Mountain, Cold Spring or the Montauk Lighthouse Run was ruined by another motor vehicle, a pothole, or some other occurrence, I can help get you the compensation you deserve. I'll get you the money to have your bike repaired at no extra cost. I charge no fee for negotiating the repair of your bike.
