The main problem with neck and back injuries is that they may not start out feeling very bad. Maybe you felt your body twist, jerk or jam. You feel lucky to escape with just a little swapped paint on your scoot. You think you're fine, so you go home refusing medical assistance (RMA), which will be so noted on the police accident report.
But you're not fine. The adrenalin is still flowing. It will take a while for your body to feel the pain. It's usually worse than you think, and it won't get better. The pain from neck and back injuries will worsen over the next several days.

A neck injury, back injury or knee injuries are called soft tissue injuries, and they can be very serious. If you have a soft tissue back injury or neck injury from a motorcycle accident, seek immediate medical treatment.
Failure to seek medical care can not only damage your healing, but can also damage your legal case.
Many people have medical coverage through work, which may or may not be good health insurance. If I am your motorcycle attorney, here's what I'd like to see:
A qualified and experienced motorcycle lawyer with personal injury experience can help you recover the maximum coverage possible for your personal injury and bike repair.
A bit of advice: If you miss your exit, go to the next one. It's not worth the turn.
